Meet Robert 'Beto' Espinosa of the Imperials Car Club of Pueblo, Colorado. A two-time Traditional Lowrider of the Year Champion, Beto has won over 700 trophies over the years with his many superb lowriders, such as his '64 Chevy Impala, "Pura Onda". A true perfectionist, he puts some of himself in every car he builds, and it shows. The '64 Chevy Impala has been a favorite with classic and lowrider builders alike for many years. The wide range of body styles, engine choices and options secured its position as America's family car.

The fins were gone and in its place were dual headlamps, a new engine and a new nameplate-Impala.
