1/650 U.S.S. Enterprise Space Ship Collector's Edition
In 1967,
a unique television series premiered, featuring the adventures of Captain Kirk,
Mr. Spock and crew aboard the fantastic starship, the U.S.S. Enterprise. Nothing
like it had been seen on television before — Star Trek was the first serious
sci-fi television series and ultimately launched a franchise that spanned 40
years, 5 television series and 11 movies. Trek is still going strong: this year,
the 11th Star Trek feature film quickly became a box office hit, delighting
audiences and critics alike.
Round 2 follows up the
instant sell-out of the 2008 Collectors Tin with a second edition. This new
edition of the embossed tin features a green color scheme that makes it the
perfect companion piece to our Mr. Spock Collectors Edition Tin. Also new
to this release: this special edition is molded in blue plastic, very reminiscent
of an early release of the kit. Classic Enterprise kit is 18” long when
fully assembled.

Star Trek Vulcan Shuttle Surak
One of the most striking
ship designs from Star Trek: The Motion Picture returns in this enhanced re-release.
The Vulcan Shuttle used to bring Mr. Spock back to his place on the Enterprise
features a primary shuttle along with a warp “sled” which gives
it the ability to travel in deep space.
This release of the kit features several upgrades from previous versions,
including revised warp nacelle grille detail as well as shuttle and sled connection
skid plates. Shuttle attaches magnetically to the warp sled with neodymium
magnets (included). The kit also includes panel decals similar to the aztec
decals featured in our popular 1/350 scale Enterprise 1701-A.

The classic Star
Trek TV show featured many memorable episodes. This release of the classic
AMT Enterprise commemorates the fan favorite episode, "The Tholian Web".
The episode featured the Enterprise's sister ship, the U.S.S. Defiant as a
mysterious glowing ghost ship. This kit is injected in glow in the dark plastic
and includes decals to allow the ship to be decorated as the Defiant or one
of several other Constitution class star ships. Also included are NEW parts
to create the twin Tholian Web Spinners which were shown entrapping the Enterprise
in the episode.
