The "Wolf" 3rd generation light gl German Army truck has excellent cross-country mobility and flexibility and can be used in all units. It distinguishes itself on all terrains due to its all-wheel drive that can be switched on and off, cross-country reduction gear and differential locks, which also makes it a reliable means of locomotion on missions abroad. The standard version of the "Wolf", which can be transported by air, was first procured by the German Army in 1988 as a successor to the "Iltis". In the meantime models have been procured with different armaments, wheelbases, engines and superstructures. The "Wolf" is also in service with other armed forces, for instance, with slight modifications, as the Puch G in the Austrian Army. In total almost 200,000 have been built.

In 1978 the first of about 12,000 UNIMOG's (UNIversal MOtor-Gerät) were delivered to the Federal German army, where they were known as the 2t tmilgl truck. This extremely versatile cross-country vehicle designed for military requirements is used by all the armed forces. Designed for a load capacity of 2,250 kg, it has a permissible total weight of 7,500 kg. A 96 kW (130 HP) 6 cylinder OM 352 diesel engine gives the vehicle a max. speed of 82 km/h. It is armed by an MG3 on rotating mount.

The Soviet BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle was introduced in 1980 as successor to the BMP-1 and has many improved features and an enhanced combat capability. An ideal type of amphibious vehicle, it is distinguished by a modern armament (30 mm automatic cannon, anti-tank missiles) and the ability to accommodate 7 gunners under cover firing through ports. Distributed throughout the sphere of influence of the former Soviet Union, it was also used by the East German army. Nowadays it is in the service of the NATO states despite being originally designed to combat them.

Between 1935 and 1942 about 36,000 of the R-12 were built. The majority of these came out of the works in the military version. The German Army often equipped the R-12 with a sidecar and an MG 34. Used by special motorcycle riflemen units, these combinations penetrated the enemy front and advanced deep into the hinterland. 133 components make a detailed reproduction of the standard German Army motorcycle and sidecar combination. This model kit gives two optional versions equipped with either two soldiers or one soldier and a pig. In addition to the engine and the spoked wheel, the MG 34 is also authentically represented. The decals offer a choice between two versions (Africa Corps/Russia).

The Sd. Kfz.9 - 18 tonne heavy towing vehicle is one of the best known and most powerful German World War II tractors. About 2,500 of the final version were made between 1939 and1944 and used for recovering tanks and also for transporting heavy artillery and bulky goods. In particular the field maintenance troops could not have done without the "FAMO" for recovering heavy German tanks and in particular the Tiger 1. In order to prevent skidding during recovery, some vehicles were equipped with a rear earth spade that could be rammed into the ground.

The Dingo 1 was procured to provide better protection for soldiers during overseas missions in places such as Kosovo and Afghanistan. This vehicle with great cross-country mobility is based on the chassis of the Daimler-Chrysler Unimog and offers protection against infantry fire with armour-piercing projectiles and artillery splinters. A V-shaped deflector on the underbody deflects the explosion pressure of a mine round the bodywork and even offers the crew inside protection against anti-tank mines.

The "Elephant" was designed for improved mobility on the battlefield and to meet the increasing need to transport heavy tanks. Development started in 1970 and by April 1976 the first vehicles out of a total of 324 were ready for delivery to the German army. One of its advantages is the 8x8 all-wheel drive. Between 1994 and 2000 the German army undertook a general upgrade programme for all 324 vehicles to enable the "Elephant" to remain in use until at least the end of 2015. It is customary for the crews to give their vehicles nicknames such as "Baby Hörmann" or "Dumbo". The "Elephant" is also used by the German army contingent operating under IFOR, SFOR and KFOR mandate. Since 2002 it has also been used by the Polish army.

As it was used on all fronts in World War II the 210 mm Mortar 18, which was built from 1939 onwards, was one of the main German army heavy artillery guns. It was constructed of an upper and a lower mount with a double recoil system. In order to bring the mortar to the firing position the platform was lowered and secured to the ground with stabilizers, the wheels were raised and the lower mount was suspended from the limber. With an elevation of 0ø to +70ø it had a maximum range of 16,700 m using the 210 mm shell 18 or the 210 mm shell 18 concrete. As a rule the mortar was transported in two loads, but if it was needed in a hurry it could be towed in one piece by the Sd.Kfz.9 "FAMO".

This medium armoured fighting vehicle, about 16,000 of which were built from 1938 onwards, was the main combat and transport vehicle used by the German mechanised infantry in the Second World War. The armoured half track was equipped with two MG 42s and optionally with a rocket launcher 40. This rocket launcher was also known as the "Infantry Stuka". The vehicle, that was 5.8 m long and had a speed of 50 km/h, is authentically reproduced in fine detail with 171 individual parts. The easy-to-assemble chassis is completed by injection moulded tracks. In addition to filigree tools the kit includes a complete rocketlauncher 40 with separate projectiles and wooden boxes.

The 8.8 cm Flak, with a legendary reputation for anti-tank warfare, was a German anti-aircraft cannon used in the Second World War. Three versions were developed, the 8.8 cm Flak 18/36/37 which came into use on all fronts. At times up to 11,000 guns were operational and formed the backbone of the air defences against bombing raids. The maximum vertical ceiling was 10.6 km, the range 14.8 km. They could fire about 15-20 rounds per minute. In order to represent a Flak battery the model kit comprises the fire director 40 complete with trailer Sd.Ah.52. This piece of equipment served to ascertain the firing data. The Flak can be built in either the firing or the travelling position. The trailer Sd. Ah.202 is included and the outrigger gun mount can be folded up like the original. The gun elevates and traverses through 360°.
